Monday Oct 23, 2023
Host Matt Donnelly is joined by Conductor Emeritus of the Great Falls Symphony and School Board Member Gordon Johnson to talk about the origins of KGPR 89.9fm and the Great Falls Public Radio Association.
KGPR is celebrating its 40th year of broadcasting in Great Falls this year, airing National Public Radio programming, Montana Public Radio, Local KGPR Great Falls programming and everything in between. Gordon recounts the process by which interested parties got KGPR up and running, and his story reminds us all of the importance of Public Radio in our lives.
